Note - Please be advised that commercial skip hire with the Council is outwith the scope for VAT purposes, however, domestic skip hire is chargeable at the standard rate of VAT.
Perth and Kinross Council can offer a skip hire for a number of different materials - Black Bag General Waste, Bulky General Waste, Waste Upholstered Domestic Seating Bulky Waste, Inert Waste, Timber Waste, Metal Waste, Garden Waste, Mixed Plastics & Tins Waste and also Food Waste.

Pricing
Quotes issued include delivery, removal and 7 days hire of the skip. The delivery & removal price is determined by the distance from our Friarton depot. Prices are exclusive of VAT and final disposal.
Commercial accounts are available upon request and contract.

How much notice is required?
This will be discussed at point of first enquiry. We aim to get the skip delivered and removed in a timely manner.
Notes on the use of skips
- Skips must be level-loaded at all times
- Paint, asbestos and fluorescent light tubes are expressly forbidden as these are classed as hazardous waste.
- Soil and earth disposal may limit the size of skip due to weight restrictions.
