Preparing for and dealing with emergencies
With winter here, it's time to get ready. This year everyone across Scotland is being encouraged to 'think ahead' and be prepared for all kinds of severe weather.
The reality is that severe weather can occur at any time of year, but is most likely during the winter months. Whether at home, in the community, in the workplace or out on the move, we all need to consider the risks and consequences of severe weather and how we - and the people we live and work with - could be affected.
