Equality and diversity in procurement

Perth and Kinross Council has reviewed and updated its equality framework to reflect the changes introduced by the Equality Act 2010 (Specific Duties) Scotland Regulations 2012.

This Council works to ensure that we pay due regard to eliminating discrimination, harassment, victimisation or any other prohibited conduct, advancing equality of opportunity by removing or minimising disadvantage, meeting the needs of particular groups that are different from the needs of others, encouraging participation in public life and fostering good relations.

The Council is committed to delivering services which are fair and inclusive for all of our citizens. Our tender documents may include requirements which are specifically designed to promote equality and diversity in the delivery of contracts.
