Perth and Kinross Council promote the Rights Respecting Schools Award across learning settings from early years to secondary education. RRSA is an accreditation awarded to learning settings where the school community can demonstrate that policy and practice is underpinned by children's rights as detailed in the UNCRC.
Learning settings are assessed across three areas and are required to provide evidence of children's rights in learning and teaching, ethos and relationships and participation, empowerment and action.
