Forward Coupar Angus | Contact Rachel Butterworth or the PKC DofE Award Office for more information | Volunteering opportunities in Coupar Angus or Burrelton with the charity 'Forward Coupar Angus' - a community garden on the edge of town where anyone can learn about growing vegetables and fruit. There are currently 10 raised beds planted up, and we are starting to harvest our first lot of veg. However, the site is still very rough and ready, and we are looking for volunteers to help with clearing the ground, trimming back hedges, and building more raised beds for next year. Next spring, we will have some other opportunities coming up - mainly preparing beds for planting, and sowing seeds. Volunteers can be supervised, and there will be ongoing support and learning for all volunteers. |
