- Drimmie Woods timber harvesting - Timber harvesting operations will take place between April and July 2024 affecting a large part of Drimmie Woods. Core path MTBL/152 will be closed throughout this time, therefore a diverted route (PDF, 2 MB) will be in place. Further routes through the woods will be affected, particularly around the timber stacking area and access roads. Please follow local diversions and signs for your own safety.
- Damage to bridge east of Alyth - Due to flood damage the bridge over the Alyth Burn at Inverqueich is CLOSED, core path ALTH/128 is therefore impassable at this point.
- River Ericht path erosion - Due to flooding, there has been erosion of the River Ericht's banks, particularly near Lochlands Farm where the bank is actively eroding and undercut, and may be dangerous. Please avoid using this route if possible.
- Due to subsidence the path north of bridge of Tully in Upper Alyth Den has been damaged and there are no suitable alternative routes
Occasionally paths may be closed to the public due to events taking place in the surrounding area. Current exemption orders can be viewed on our rights and responsibilities page.
If you come across any problems on the paths, including signposts and path furniture such as stiles and gates, please report them to us by contacting communitygreenspace@pkc.gov.uk or calling 01738 475000.
