In Spring 2022 we appointed a range of new contractors to carry out some of our Housing Repairs work.
The Council is required to re tender for this work every four to five years to ensure we are getting good value for money. The latest round of tendering was delayed for a year by the pandemic. However it has now been completed, and our new list of contractors is:

- Electrical - Summit FS Ltd
- Joinery work - QAPM Ltd
- Masonry & Wet Trades - Pankhurst Decorators Ltd
- Painting & Decorating - Forbes Ltd
- Glazing - McLeods
- Drainage - Metro Rod Ltd
- Solid Fuel Heating - Old Mill Chimneys
- Blacksmith (metalwork) - Lux Fabrication Ltd
- Fencing - Lux Fabrication Ltd
The contracts will run until March 2026. We look forward to working with all of the successful companies as we continue to provide you with a high-quality repairs service.
