Managers can use the MyPKC Staff Portal to submit Change of Circumstances for employees moving and changing contracts within the Council.

Managers should use MyPKC Staff Portal to submit Change of Circumstances for employees moving or changing contracts within the Council. This process improves accuracy as information is automatically uploaded from Resourcelink, making it much easier for you to complete a Change of Circumstance and leaving less scope for error. Changes are also being actioned more quickly as we are no longer restricted by Employee Approval Process (EAP) deadlines.

A list of the various Change of Circumstances, which must be submitted for approval on MyPKC Staff Portal, is available below.  This list also provides the workflow flowcharts for each specific change.  The flowcharts include alternative step-by-step descriptions for colleagues who use assistive technology or otherwise have difficulties with the flowchart images.

Managers should use MyPKC Staff Portal to submit requests for a single employee with multiple changes.  There are 6 options available to sue in the multiple change option:

Additional Post (existing post)

Change of Post (existing post)

Ext to FTC/Secondments

Change in Contracted Hours

Change of Line Manager

Change in Salary

All options within the one request must have the same start date - please submit separate requests if you require difference start dates.  Finance and HR Teams will progress each request in its entirety therefore, if they need to reject one of the options, the entire request will be rejected.
