Council housing new-build developments 2019/20

A development of 24 new-build Council homes was completed at Blackthorn Place, Blairgowrie, in 2019. 

• 1 x 4 bedroom detached bungalow
• 2 x 3 bedroom semi-detached bungalow
• 4 x 5 bedroom semi-detached houses
• 4 x 4 bedroom end terraced
• 5 x 3 bedroom mid terraced
• 8 x 2 bedroom flats

Investment

£4.3m was invested in the development by Perth & Kinross Council and the Scottish Government.  

Builder

The development was built by the Council's construction partner Stewart Milne Homes.

Features

The bungalows and ground floor flats have wet-rooms and are suitable for tenants with a disability or mobility issues.

As well as the new Council housing for social rent, the development at Blairgowrie included 13 homes marketed by the Council to buy on a shared-equity basis.
