Applications will reopen on Tuesday 29 April 2025
Information
Perth and Kinross Council has recognised there are a number of community groups and sport clubs who could be interested in owning and operating an ex-Council minibus. There are 17 minibuses that are expected to reach the end of their operational service period in 2024/2025. We recognise that although these minibuses will no longer be used by the Council, groups may be able to use these vehicles to enhance their service provision and provide community benefit.
Minibuses will all come with at least a 6-month MOT certificate, and an inspection report on the condition of the vehicle will be made available to any interested community groups or sport clubs. Otherwise, vehicles are 'sold as seen'. All future repairs and MOT would be required to be arranged by the purchaser. Perth and Kinross Council maintain no liability for the vehicle once ownership is transferred. In line with when a vehicle is sold at auction, only a verbal service history update will be provided, and the Council will have no liability for any asset 'sold as seen'.
