The Perth & Kinross Care Home Forum provides an opportunity for the Council, Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Tayside and local care home providers to work collaboratively and ensure that all care homes feel supported and empowered to deliver the highest quality of care to their residents
Role and remit
- To share best practice with local care homes and vice versa.
- To ensure effective communication structures are in place and that standard, consistent messages are being shared as widely as possible.
- To identify with care homes any training needs and facilitate the development of training opportunities to meet this need and thus ensure a competent workforce
- To provide an opportunity for care home managers to raise any particular issues with the key people involved in our respective organisations.
- To involve other external partners to be involved as appropriate to share relevant information or good practice with the local care home sector.
