Elections for Community Councils are held every 3 years. Between this time local residents can petition for an election to establish or re-establish a Community Council, and by-elections may be held to fill vacancies.If you care about the area you live in and want to make a difference, then get involved by standing for your local Community Council.

A By-Election will be held on Thursday 10 April 2025 for Dunkeld and Birnam Community Council. The nomination period is now open and will close at 4pm on Thursday 27 February 2025. If you are interested in joining this community council please submit a completed nomination form.

By-Elections will be held on Thursday 13 March 2025 for the undernoted community councils. The nomination period is now open and will close at 4pm on Thursday 6 February 2025. If you are interested in joining these community councils please submit a completed nomination form.
