Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee has updated the Essential Child Protection E-Learning Module for 2022
The module provides key information about how you can recognise the signs that a child or young person may be at risk of harm or abuse, and know how to respond effectively to help protect them. It is relevant for ALL staff, including Managers, Practitioners and Volunteers who work across Perth and Kinross and is equally applicable to those working in Children's and Adult Services.
The module should take about 20 minutes to complete and will cover the following common questions:
- What is meant by the terms child abuse and protection?
- How is child abuse experienced?
- What are the signs and indicators of abuse?
- How can I recognise when a child may be at risk of harm?
- What should I do if I have a concern about a child?
