Fairer Communities for All

Fairer Communities for All is a new process designed to make it easier for communities to shape local projects and influence how local funding is spent.

We're working closely with communities across Perth and Kinross to find real, practical solutions to the cost of living crisis. Together, we'll build fairer, stronger communities. By sharing your priorities and ideas to help with the cost of living, you can help shape the future of your community.  We will collaborate with local community groups and organisations to bring your ideas to life.

How much is available?

For the 2025/26 period, over £347,000 has been allocated across the 12 Perth and Kinross Wards to support community-led projects that address the cost of living challenges and build a better future.

How can you get involved?

If you have ideas about what would be beneficial for you or your community to help with the cost of living, we encourage you to submit them via our online form before Friday 8 August. You'll find examples to inspire you, but we also welcome any new and innovative suggestions from across the area. If you're unable to access the online form, paper copies are available at your local Culture Perth and Kinross (CPK) library or mobile library van. Visit the CPK mobile library web page for library van timetables in your area.

Community groups and volunteers interested in exploring the ideas submitted, collaborating with other community groups to shape local projects which tackle the cost of living and applying for funds to deliver projects will be invited to register your interest and attend a local introductory workshop.

Once ideas have been developed into community-led projects, residents will have the opportunity to vote on which projects should receive funding. Stay tuned - voting for your favourite projects will be open from 27 October to 14 November 2025.
