Support services for parents and siblings of individuals with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Parent Support
Perth Autism Support arranges a monthly meeting for parents to have the chance to get some time to themselves in an understanding environment and to gain helpful peer support from other parents.
They also provide one to one support for parents who are unable to access the Parents Meetings or you can log onto to their secure forums for help and advice from other parents.
The dates for all parent support meetings can be found on their website.
Siblings Group
The Siblings Group runs once a month and is a chance for brothers and sisters to spend time with other young people in a similar situation in an understanding and supportive environment. The group is supported by PAS staff and trained volunteers.
They also offer a programme of information sessions for siblings to help them understand autism and what this might mean for their family and to discuss the impact of some of their brothers or sisters sensory issues or behaviours.
