Perth & Kinross Trading Standards can also offer a Primary Authority relationship through the national Primary Authority scheme. This is where businesses are able to form a statutory partnership with a single local authority, which will provide robust and reliable advice that other councils must take into account when carrying out inspections or dealing with non-compliance.
UKCA Marking
The Business Companion website contains guidance on the new UKCA marking which replaces the CE mark. From 1 Jan 2023 certain products will be required to display the UKCA mark instead of the CE mark.
