Perth and Kinross Council has long valued and prioritised the importance of play for children and families and welcomed both the Play Strategy for Scotland and the supporting Action Plan, published by the Scottish Government.
Perth & Kinross council and a wide range of organisations have engaged as a group to develop the Perth and Kinross Play Framework (PDF) [1MB] and Action Plan. This has been supported by Play Scotland. The local Play Strategy will promote the importance of play for children and young people and identify key priorities: in the home; in nurseries and schools; in communities and promote positive support for play.
