If a member of your household is in hospital as a long-term patient or in a care home, absent to provide or receive care or has a severe mental impairment you may be able to get a discount on your council tax bill

If a member of your household is classed as severely mentally impaired, you may be able to claim a discount on your council tax.

Carers

If you receive or provide care or support to another person you may be able to get a discount on your council tax.

Paid care workers

If a member of your household is a paid care worker, you may be eligible to claim a discount on your council tax.

Person in long term hospital or care home

If a member of your household is in hospital as a long-term patient or in a care home, you may be able to get a discount on your council tax bill.
