Perth and Kinross Credit Union is now part of Scotwest!
Scotwest Credit Union is a financial co-operative owned and controlled by its members. It is open to everyone living, working or studying in Perth and Kinross, Stirling, Dumfries & Galloway, the West of Scotland and the Scottish Highlands.

It aims to help members by providing access to a range of savings accounts, personal loans, mortgages, and junior accounts, all designed to be competitive and fair.
Joining Scotwest Credit Union offers many benefits:
Competitive financial products. Scotwest offer a range of savings accounts, which also includes the popular Christmas savings account where you can spread the cost of the festive season by saving throughout the year.
Free to join. All you have to do is deposit at least £1 in your Scotwest saver account. You can save as little or as much as you like.
Loans where there are no fees, and the rates are competitive. The rate advertised is appropriate to all members, no matter your individual circumstances.
Free life savings and loan protection providing peace of mind and financial security.
Payroll deduction facilities, making it easier to save and manage finances. It is possible to pay by direct debit or deposit money into your savings account using your debit card or by electronic bank transfer.
You can participate in the Scotwest Lottery which is exclusive to members. Entries cost £1 each where the prizes range from £300 to £4,000
As a member you have a say in how the credit union is run and can vote at general meetings
Rather than paying interest on your savings, credit unions pay an annual dividend to members depending on the financial performance of the business.
Scotwest Credit Union is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Prudential Regulation Authority. In addition, they are also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) and the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
