Council housing new-build developments - Southfield Meadows, Abernethy
A development of 10 new Council homes was completed at Southfield Meadows, Abernethy, in November 2022
- Two terraced blocks of three two-storey houses. Three of the houses have 3 bedrooms, and the other three have 2 bedrooms.
- One block of 4 cottage flats (all 2 bedrooms).
Investment
£1.6m was invested in the new homes from Perth & Kinross Council and the Scottish Government.
Builder
The development was built by the Council's construction partner Hadden Group.
Energy efficiency measures included
- Triple glazed windows
- Insulated external doors
- Hybrid heating systems that include an air source heat pump
- Solar roof panels.
