Perth and Kinross Council value and support carers in the workplace. We recognise that juggling work and having caring responsibilities can be very difficult for employees. Scottish Living Wage - Employer accreditation
As an accredited Scottish Living Wage Employer, we guarantee to pay at least the Scottish Living Wage to any employee who is 18 years or older and who is paid directly by the Council.
By signing the Menopause Workplace Pledge, we are committed to recognising that menopause in the workplace can be an issue and that employees going through the menopause need support, we are committed to talking openly, positively and respectfully about menopause and actively supporting and informing employees affected by the menopause.
Perth & Kinross Council have signed the Armed Forces Covenant to show our support for armed forces personnel, veterans and their families. Having achieved the Gold Award under the Employer Recognition Scheme, we are a forces friendly employer and actively encourage applications from former armed forces personnel/reservists. Many of the skills attained during a military career could be transferred directly into a role with local government.
