The latest Awareness Day event for the Perth and Kinross Dementia Cafe initiative is coming up on Wednesday 5 June 2024.
The Dementia Cafe, a monthly event organised by Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership, provides a safe, welcoming environment for people with dementia, their family, carers and friends can come together with other caregivers to spend quality time together, and access information on support available in the community.
At the next event, a range of services and organisations that can assist people with dementia and their carers will be represented, including Alzheimers Scotland, VisionPK, Live Active Leisure, PKAVS Carers Support, NHS Podiatry, Citizens Advice Bureau, the Community Mental Health Team, Trading Standards, Safer Community Warden, the Council's Welfare Rights Team, Telecare Services and Langs Foods.
All are welcome to attend between 10am and 12.30pm at the North Church, Perth High Street, on Wednesday 5 June 2024.
