At Your Library

Tap into our free, library led sessions at Strathearn Community Campus.

  • Two book groups meet once a month. One meets in the afternoon, one in the evening.
  • If you fancy chatting about your favourite reads over a cuppa then why not join our Cafe Book group. This informal group meets once a month on a Saturday morning.
  • Explore your family history at our free, drop-in sessions. Thos informal group meets every two weeks on a Friday morning.
  • Our ever popular bookbug sessions run every Thursday from 10.30 to 11.00am. These free interactive sessions are suitable for pre-school children. No booking required. 

Please contact the library for further details for any of the above.

Strathearn library is a welcoming and inclusive space, suitable for all ages. With free WiFi, free access to computers and over 10,000 books to chose from it is the perfect space to make your own.

Strathearn Family History Group

Interested in researching your family history? Join our fun, informal Family History Group. Help and guidance is available from library staff and other group members. You may bring your own device but laptops can also be provided by the library.

Strathearn Community Library, 11am to 1pm, Fortnightly on Fridays.

Ancestry Autumn Series

£2.50 per session. Enhance your skills with a half-hour one-on-one session where an expert will help you explore and understand family and local history websites.

Saturday 19 October, from 10am to 1pm at Strathearn Community Library. 

Spaces are limited so please sign up by contacting the Library.

Costume Swap

From October 7-13 it's #GreenLibrariesWeek, so why not bring your old and outgrown costumes and swap them for new ones, perfect for Halloween! 

Discover different costumes and opportunities to help save clothes from landfills. This will not only be fun but also help our environment.

8-12 October 2024 at Strathearn Community Library, during library hours.

 

Crafty Creatives 

Friday 18 October, 2.40pm to 3.30p, at Strathearn Community Library. £2. 

Join us for a fun-packed craft session featuring sewing, decorating hand puppets, creating face masks, and more. Book in person, by phone at 01764 657707, or via email at strathearnlibrary@culturepk.org.uk.
