Due to resurfacing works requiring to be undertaken on Dunkeld Road, Perth there will be a requirement for a number of services to be diverted.
The works will commence on Monday, 11 November 2024 and will be completed by Friday, 22 November 2024. The works will be undertaken in 3 phases as follows:
Phase 1 - Monday 11th November to Thursday 14th November 2024.
Northbound closure only of A912 from the roundabout at Gowans Terrace (Cameron s Garage). Traffic travelling towards Perth City will not be affected.
Diversions
Service 1A - Will divert from Dunkeld Road via Gowans Terrace, Bute Drive, Argyll Road (Terminus), then back onto normal route on Bute Drive.
Service 4/23/27/34/34A - Will divert from Dunkeld Road via Gowans Terrace, Bute Drive, and return to normal route on Dunkeld Road.
Phase 2 - Friday 15th November to Monday 18th November 2024
Northbound closure only of A912 from Crieff Road Roundabout to Asda Roundabout. Traffic travelling towards Perth City will not be affected.
Diversions
Service 1A - Will divert from Tulloch Institute via Tulloch Terrace, Primrose Crescent, Auld Bond Road, Dunkeld Road, and resume normal route on Bute Drive.
Service 4/23/27/34/34A - Will divert from Atholl Street via Melville Street, Balhousie Street, The Rookery, Gowans Terrace, and return to normal route on Dunkeld Road.
Service 615 - Will divert from Crieff Road via Dunkeld Road, Atholl Street, Melville Street, Balhousie Street, The Rookery to access St John's Academy.
Phase 3 - Tuesday 19th November to Friday 22th November 2024
Southbound closure only of A912 from Asda Roundabout to Crieff Road Roundabout. Traffic travelling away from Perth City will not be affected.
Diversions
Service 2A - Will divert from Bute Drive via Dunkeld Road, Auld Bond Road, and rejoin the normal route on Primrose Crescent.
Service 4/23/27/34/34A - Will divert from Dunkeld Road via Gowans Terrace, The Rookery, Balhousie Street, Melville Street, and return to normal route on North Methven Street
Service 70 - Will divert from Dunkeld Road via Gowans Terrace, The Rookery, Balhousie Street, Melville Street, Atholl Street, Dunkeld Road, and return to normal route on Crieff Road.
Service 615 - Will divert from St John's Academy via The Rookery, Balhousie Street, Melville Street, Atholl Street, Dunkeld Road, and return to normal route on Crieff Road.
