Michael Souter, a talented photographer of the Facebook group Pictures of Perth and Beyond, has won our competition to have his photograph featured as this year's Perth and Kinross Council's Corporate Christmas Card.
The stunning image of Kinnoull Hill will be shared with our local communities, businesses, and partners, as well as worldwide to our twinned cities in France, Germany, Ukraine, China, Poland, Australia, Canada and the USA, spreading a festive message and showcasing the natural beauty of our area in Winter.
This exciting news comes as Pictures of Perth and Beyond, a local Facebook group set up by Marysia MacFarlane, celebrates a significant milestone this year, having recently surpassed 10,000 followers. The group has been instrumental in promoting the beauty of our natural surroundings, fostering a community of passionate photographers and nature enthusiasts in Perth and Kinross and beyond.
As part of his prize, Michael Souter has been awarded a Scotland Loves Local Gift Card, encouraging support for local businesses and helping to shop locally.
