Holiday periods can present significant issues for some children, young people and families who received free school meals during term time. We understand that there is often a financial strain on some families that may result in some of our children and young people being unable to access a healthy meal every day.
We are looking for organisations, groups or services that can provide holiday food and childcare or activities for children and families.
Are you planning to run activities for children and young people during holiday periods?
This year the fund is for the targeted provision of accessible activities, childcare and food for children 2 - 15 years from low-income families during the school holidays. Activities supported by this funding can be for the child/ren, young people or the whole family.
The funding is intended to be targeted at children and young people, family groups from the following Council wards:
- 3: Blairgowrie and Glens
- 6: Strathearn
- 7: Strathallan
- 8: Kinross-shire
- 10: Perth City South
- 11: Perth City North
- 12: Perth City Centre
Attendee postcodes should come from ACORN areas 4, 5, and 6. Successful applications will be provided a tool to enable them to check postcodes fit the criteria areas.
Applications close midnight Wednesday 27 August 2025.
