Emergency Closure - Stagecoach Service 57/57A
The A926 between Alyth and Rattray will be closed from 09:30 on Monday, 23 March 2026 for a period of up to three weeks due to emergency gas works.
During the closure Stagecoach Service 57/57A will be affected with Dundee and Perth bound services operating between Meigle and Blairgowrie Wellmeadow via the A923 - Coupar Angus - A94. Services will not operate via Rattray, New Alyth & Alyth.
Passengers from Rattray will require to access Service 57/57A at Blairgowrie Wellmeadow while the closure is in place. The 0635 departure from Alyth to Perth will commence from Rattray Cross at 0648.
Passengers from New Alyth & Alyth will be linked to Service 57/57A at Meigle by a shuttle bus operating a reduced timetable.
KM Taxis (Alyth) will operate all shuttle bus journeys (Monday to Saturday) for the period of the closure. No late evening journeys or Sunday shuttle service will operate.
The shuttle bus timetable is available from the driver and at bus stop locations on the route.
