Planning Agent Validation Session on 5 May 2026

We are hosting an engagement session aimed at planning agents who use our planning service.

Many planning applications continue to be submitted as invalid on receipt.  As part of our ongoing series of engagement events we are hosting a Planning Agent Validation Session, to be held in the Council Chambers at 2 High Street, Perth on Tuesday 5 May 2026 from 9.30 am to 12 noon.

The session will provide insight into the most common invalidation reasons raised during 2025, a refresher on minimum validation requirements and include a collaborative Q&A to close. This is also an opportunity to meet our Validation Technicians and some Planning Officers directly, share your experiences and thus contribute to ongoing service improvements. Our aim is to offer a practical session designed to support real discussion and shape improved outcomes.

If you are a planning agent who submits planning applications to Perth and Kinross Council, or intend to, please register your interest by 10 April 2026 to secure your place as we have a limited capacity.
