School closures

Current status - Industrial action affecting Perth and Kinross Schools Monday 28 October

Schools in Perth and Kinross are currently being affected by industrial action called by UNISON in a national dispute over pay. 

Families whose children receive Free School Meals because they are in receipt of qualifying benefits will receive payments for the first week of industrial action (21 October to 25 October) on Friday 1 November. Payments for the second week (28 October to 1 November) will be made on Friday 8 November.

The situation at each of our schools on Monday 28 October is listed below. 

Fairview School remains closed. Intensive Support Provision (ISP) is also closed unless otherwise stated. Connections is closed. Navigate will be open.

On Monday, all secondaries will be open but the Community School of Auchterarder is only open to pupils in S1, S4, S5 and S6. St John's Academy is open to pupils in S3, S4, S5, and S6 only

Breadalbane is able to provide ISP to primary and secondary pupils but ELC is only open to three and four-year-olds.

Perth Grammar School can provide ISP to children in S1 to S6.

Wraparound care is closed everywhere except Luncarty and St Dominic's.

Please note the situation at each school may change on a daily basis if staffing numbers change. We will provide updates at 1pm each day next week for parents and carers on social media and through our website.

Breadalbane - primary open, and is able to provide ISP to primary and secondary pupils, ELC is only open to three and four-year-olds.

Comrie - primary open, ELC closed

Craigie - primary open, ELC closed

Errol - open to all P6 and P7 pupils. Open to P4/5 (orange) on Monday (28 October) and Tuesday (29 October). Open to P4/5 (purple) on Thursday (31 Oct) and Fri (1 November)

Fossoway - open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. ELC closed.

Goodlyburn - School open to P1 to P7 including GME,COPECC ELC Closed

Guildtown - primary open, ELC will remain closed all week

Invergowrie - school open, ELC closed

Kenmore - open Wednesday only

Kinnoull - closed Monday and Tuesday, open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Logiealmond - open Thursday and Friday only

Luncarty - primary open, ELC closed. No breakfast club

Methven - The school will be open to Nursery, P1 class and P2/3 class each day. P3/4 open Wednesday to Friday

Moncreiffe - school closed, ELC open

Muthill - open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Closed Tuesday

Pitlochry Primary - Open Monday, Wednesday and Thursday to all. Tuesday P1 to P4 only. Friday P5 to P7 only.
