Abernyte Primary School - Catchment area review

On 4 November 2020, the Lifelong Learning Committee approved the scope and principles to be used to underpin the options appraisal to be developed in considering a further catchment review for Abernyte Primary School.  

The introduction of nursery provision at Abernyte Primary School will also be considered as part of the options appraisal. 

An exercise has been undertaken using the principles (PDF) [148KB] agreed at Lifelong Learning Committee on 4 November 2020 to establish the catchment areas to be considered as part of the catchment review.  These areas are Inchture Primary School catchment to the north of the A90 and Longforgan Primary School to the north of the A90.

We are seeking views of parents / carers who:

  • live in the Abernyte, Inchture and Longforgan primary school catchment areas identified and have children currently attending primary school
  • have children under the age of five living in the Abernyte, Inchture and Longforgan primary school catchment areas identified as being part of the review
