Path information
- View the Crieff Path Network leaflet (PDF, 607 KB) to find information on eight paths from 1 to 8 miles varying from steep hill routes, such as to The Knock and Laggan Hill, to level, well surfaced paths such as Lady Mary's Walk, which is accessible to all.
- The Bennybeg path (PDF, 1 MB) which links to the River Earn Path has a Nature Trail (PDF, 458 KB) laid out around the path.

Facilities and events
- Enjoy the views of Crieff and surrounding area from The Knock and keep your eyes open for red squirrels. The Knock is also popular with horse riders and cyclists.
- Nearest public toilets are in James Square in the Town Centre and within MacRosty Park.
Getting here
- On foot: Lady Mary's Walk is a wooded riverside route so offers great views of the River Earn and its wildlife, it is accessible to all and can be reached most easily from Laggan Road but can also be accessed via the Turret Burn from Turretbank Road. The nearest car park is at Taylor Park off Turretbank Road.
On foot: The Knock of Crieff rises above the Town and Crieff Hydro and can be reached on foot via Ferntower Road. Car parking is provided on site and is signed from Ferntower Road.

The Knock Management Plan
The Knock is a small but distinctive 279m high hill located to the north of Crieff and takes its name from the old Scots word for hillock, which was derived from the Gaelic 'cnoc' meaning hill. The Knock Management Plan (PDF, 17 MB)covers landscape character and site condition, conservation and ecology, and archaeology.
