All pupils in primaries 1 - 5 are entitled to free school meals from January 2022.
How do I pay for school meals?
All Perth and Kinross Council Schools are now cashless. ParentPay is our preferred method of payment as it provides a way for parents / carer's to pay for their child's school dinners, school trips, breakfast club, etc. ParentPay Activation letters have previously been issued to all children, but if you require an additional copy, please contact your school office.
If you do not currently have a bank account, or wish to continue paying by cash, PayPoint is the alternative method to do this. To use this system the school office will issue you with a PayPoint barcode for each individual payment item, which allows you to pay at any participating store.
Primary and nursery menus and allergen and nutritional information
Primary and Nursery menus are available and nutritional and allergy information is available from Tayside Contracts.
All schools operate a pre-order system to help ensure children get their preferred choice of meal. Children typically make their choice during morning registration in the classroom. Please note that any meals ordered by children in error or who subsequently go home ill, may be charged for if the kitchen is informed of the error/their absence after 10.30am.
Medically prescribed diets and nut and peanut allergy
School lunches can be provided for children in primary schools either requiring a medically prescribed diet or who have a nut and/or peanut allergy. Please download the information leaflet (PDF, 281 KB) and application form (PDF, 304 KB). Parents can also self manage simple dietary requirements for their children by using the interactive menu and carbohydrate menu available at Tayside Contracts.
