Being in work, education or training is something that Throughcare strive to achieve for all young people. You may not agree with us, but being in some form of structure really helps to make your circumstances as positive as possible.
We will work with your teachers, careers advisors, youth services, college lecturers and others to ensure that you are fully supported in your education. We share an office with Youth Services teams at the City Base. They work with schools throughout Perth & Kinross. They have fantastic training opportunities, volunteering opportunities, and great links with Colleges and Universities. They can also provide advice and guidance about housing, careers, health, counselling sessions around sexual health and drug and alcohol awareness sessions. The list goes on and on. This is a fantastic opportunity, and has the potential to ensure that you get the right support that you need to make your future a success.
When the time is right, careers or youth services can help you decide on options for the future.
You could be entitled to financial support to help you get the most out of your time in education. We will ensure that you are able to access that support if appropriate.
