Lifelong Learning Committee agreed on 31 October 2012 to consult on the proposal to relocate the school.

This report presented a proposal paper (PDF, 809 KB) in respect of Crieff Primary School, and it was agreed that a formal consultation would be undertaken on the proposal to relocate the existing Crieff Primary School to a new school on a site adjoining to Strathearn Community Campus. A period of formal consultation was undertaken in line with the requirements of the Schools (Consultation) (Scotland) Act from Friday 16 November 2012 until Friday 25 January 2013.
Public Meetings
Two public meetings were held in Crieff to discuss the proposals for Crieff Primary School. Anyone wishing to attend either or both of the public meetings was welcome to do so. The meetings were an opportunity for interested parties to:
- hear more about the proposal
- ask questions about the proposal
- have their views recorded so that they can be taken into account as part of the consultation process

The next stage in the Consultation Process was the publication of the outcome of the Statutory Consultation. This consultation report (PDF, 108 KB) was published on Monday 8 July 2013 for a period of 5 weeks before the proposal was considered and approved by the Lifelong Learning Committee in August 2013, Report 13/384 (PDF, 2 MB) refers.
