Council housing new-build developments 2017/18

A development of new-build Council homes was completed in Nimmo Place, Perth, in 2017. 

• Five 1-bedroom wheelchair-accessible flats
• Nine 1-bedroom standard apartments
• Two 2-bedroom flats

Investment

£2m was invested in the development by Perth & Kinross Council and the Scottish Government. 

Builder

The development was built by the Council's construction partner CCG Scotland.

Features

Triple-glazed windows and doors for energy efficiency.

Accommodation for tenants with a special housing need, to allow them to live independently in the community.

The development was built on the site of run-down lock-ups, bringing the site back into use as much-needed affordable housing for social rent and enhancing the local area.
