We carried out a public consultation from May to July 2025 to find out more about the public transport needs of residents throughout Perth & Kinross when it comes to local bus services.
We wanted to know how well passenger needs are being met by existing bus services and, how we can shape services for the future. The consultation was aimed at passengers who use, have used or would like to use local bus services.
We received a total of 896 responses to the consultation. Thank you to everyone who took the time to tell us your thoughts and views.
The results will be analysed and people will be given a further opportunity to comment on shaping local bus transport when we start roadshows around Perth and Kinross in September. We will publicise the dates and venues for these when they are finalised.
All of the feedback provided will be used to design a new model for public transport in Perth and Kinross that will be considered by Councillors. The new transport model will aim to meet the needs of local communities and will be integrated, accessible, reliable, efficient and effective.
