The planning performance frameworks report on a mix of qualitative and quantitative measures that demonstrate our level of performance and other aspects of our planning function. The feedback reports from the Scottish Ministers are also available.
Heads of Planning Scotland (HOPS) has been working with the Scottish Government to develop a framework for measuring and reporting performance. The framework involves a mix of qualitative and quantitative measures to to demonstrate our level of performance, customer feedback, achievements, and key challenges. Whilst the speed of decision making will features as an important factor our overall performance is set within a wider supporting context of quality, workloads, availability of resources and actual outcomes achieved on the ground.
