Existing commercial waste and recycling customers can contact us if you believe a scheduled collection has been missed.
Before reporting a missed collection, please check the information below, as missed uplifts are often due to presentation or contamination issues.
Bin presentation
Bins must be presented correctly to be uplifted. If a bin is overfilled, meaning the lid does not close fully, or is not placed at the agreed kerbside location, it will not be collected. Side waste placed next to the bin will also not be uplifted. Bins should be presented by 7.30am on your scheduled collection day to avoid being missed.
Contaminated bin
If a recycling bin contains the wrong items, such as glass in a paper and cardboard bin, the crew will not collect it. This helps make sure recycling can be processed safely and correctly.
If your bin is contaminated, please remove the incorrect items and present it on your next scheduled collection day. If the contamination is too severe to correct yourself, please contact us to discuss disposal as general waste.
To avoid contamination in the future, we can provide signage for your staff or anyone using the bins to help prevent contamination. We can offer solutions to help stop contamination of bins by passers-by as well.
If you have checked the information above and still believe your commercial waste collection has been missed, you can report it online. When reporting a missed collection, please provide the location of the property, the type of waste or recycling involved, and the date the collection was due. This helps us investigate and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
