Child protection is everyone's responsibility and the Perth and Kinross Child Protection Committee (CPC) recognise the importance of providing high quality child protection training to staff who work across Perth and Kinross to assist them in feeling confident and competent when dealing with child protection issues.
The following three, introductory, online learning and development modules are recommended for all staff working across Perth and Kinross:
Online child protection module
This course is designed to give you information regarding responsibilities and guidance for promoting the wellbeing of children and keeping them safe.
Online getting it right for every child (GIRFEC) module
This module is an introduction to the getting it right for every child approach.
Online adult support and protection module
Perth & Kinross Council is committed to raising basic awareness and the understanding of adult support and protection, and promoting adult safety, health and wellbeing.
Inter-agency child protection training framework
The Perth & Kinross Child Protection Committee has provided information and advice about our approach and commitment to inter-agency Child Protection training.
