The route then takes a slight right turn to run along the river path, straight ahead, past Double Dykes and then the route goes under the new road bridge (providing access to Bertha Park) and continues along river path all the way along to Almond Grove, where you take a left turn off the river path and join the cul-de-sac. Turn right out of Almond Grove and continue along the road. After passing Huntingtower Hotel, the route turns left and follows a path. At the end of the path, the route takes a left and heads towards Ruthvenfield Primary School. Here the route turns left over a humpback bridge, along the road dropping onto the river path at the left hand side of the new roundabout and back under the new road bridge before turning right and along the path towards Double Dykes and onto the Industrial Estate. Take the left hand turn at Ruthvenfield Place in the industrial estate to re-join the river path again. Continue straight back along the river path., through the flood gate onto the North Inch golf course, back along the path past Muirton Cottages and on to the George Duncan Athletics track to finish.
