Requests to change to wheeled bins

If you are currently on a pink sack collection for general waste and think you may have storage space for wheeled bins, please use our make a general enquiry online form or call our Customer Service Centre on 01738 476476.

Correct presentation of pink sacks

Make sure your pink sack is put out at the agreed location by 7:30 am on the day of collection. Do not present pink sacks to the kerbside any earlier as bags may be burst open overnight by scavenging animals. Do not put any liquids, including paint, cooking oil or engine oil;  or bricks, stones, soil, rubble or timber in pink sacks. Many of these items can be recycled at your local recycling centre. Also, please do not place Waste Electricals (WEEE), batteries or vapes into your pink sacks, these have an environmental impact and are a fire risk.

Missed collections

Failure to present your bin(s) correctly could result in your bin(s) not being emptied, these will not be uplifted until the next scheduled collection date.  Report a missed household waste collection and help us to investigate.
