Christmas Lights Switch-on Weekend 2024

This year's weekend will take place on Saturday November 23 and Sunday November 24. This free, family-friendly weekend is packed with entertainment, featuring live performances from local and national artists, festive music, and dazzling street entertainers.

Visitors can also enjoy funfair rides, Christmas cabins offering unique gifts and seasonal treats, and of course, the spectacular Christmas parade featuring Santa and his festive friends.

Christmas Parade

The Christmas Parade will be part of a rolling Road Closure on Saturday 23 November 2024. The parade will follow a route from Thimblerow and arrive at the main Tay Street stage.  This closure will be under the direction of Police Scotland and appointed stewards and will operate on a rolling closure basis so disruption will be as minimal and brief as possible.  Timings and route still to be confirmed.

Public Transport and Car Parking

There may be delays to some bus services as due to the day's events - please follow live timetables or follow Stagecoach East Scotland on X for latest information.
