The Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 requires the Council to manage and maintain all roads entered in the List of Public Roads for its area.

The list of public roads which the Council maintains is split into two categories:

Public roads - urban (PDF) [1MB] (within towns)
Public roads - rural (PDF) [265KB] (outwith towns)

The List of Public Roads and Road Maintenance Map, includes adopted roads, footways or footpaths which are the responsibility of Perth & Kinross Councils Roads Authority. Trunk Roads are the responsibility of Transport Scotland.

Addition to the List of Public Roads notice

Broich Road, Crieff (School)

Under Sections 1(4) and 16 of the above Act the Council proposes to add the following roads to the list of public roads: (i) Broich Road (B8062), Crieff and (ii) Pittenzie Road (U3), Crieff. The Broich Road, Crieff (School) adoption plan (PDF) [393KB] shows the area to be adopted in black. Any person wishing to make a representation must do so in writing by 20th of September 2024 to the Strategic Lead, Legal & Governance Services, Perth and Kinross Council, 2 High Street, Perth, PH1 5PH and/or to LegalServices@pkc.gov.uk.

Broich Road, Crieff (Tayside Contracts yard)

Under Sections 1(4) and 16 of the above Act the Council proposes to add the following road to the list of public roads: Broich Road (B8062), Crieff. The Broich Road, Crieff (TC yard) adoption plan (PDF) [133KB] shows the area to be adopted in black. Any person wishing to make a representation must do so in writing by 20th of September 2024 to the Strategic Lead, Legal & Governance Services, Perth and Kinross Council, 2 High Street, Perth, PH1 5PH and/or to LegalServices@pkc.gov.uk.

Pittenzie Road, Crieff

Under Sections 1(4) and 16 of the above Act the Council proposes to add the following road to the list of public roads: Pittenzie Road (U3), Crieff. The Pittenzie Road, Crieff adoption plan (PDF) [103KB] shows the area to be adopted in black. Any person wishing to make a representation must do so in writing by 20th of September 2024 to the Strategic Lead, Legal & Governance Services, Perth and Kinross Council, 2 High Street, Perth, PH1 5PH and/or to LegalServices@pkc.gov.uk.

Junction from Gallowhill Road to Broich Road, Crieff

Under Sections 1(4) and 16 of the above Act the Council proposes to add the following roads to the list of public roads: (i) Broich Road (B8062), Crieff and (ii) Gallowhill Road (A822), Crieff.
