The NHS Tayside Learning Disability Service is a team comprising of lots of different health care professionals and support staff who offer a range of services.
We are currently based at Murray Royal Hospital, Perth and our services comprise of the following:

- Clinical Psychology Services
- Community Learning Disability Nursing Team
- Learning Disability Intensive Support Service
- Dietetic service
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech & Language Therapy
- Music Therapy
- Art Therapy
- Administration & Clerical support
We operate an open referral service, which means anyone can refer to our services. All services offer assessment and treatment interventions for a variety of needs.
We are here to help people who have a Learning Disability and we can also offer support, advice and training to people who support these individuals.

The Health Screening Clinic for Adult's with Down's Syndrome

Growing Capability
Description | Growing Capability is a Voluntary work and Training Project for people with a learning disability who are finding it difficult to get or keep a job. The Occupational Therapy Department of NHS Tayside, Perth and Kinross Learning Disability Service run the project in partnership with Capability Scotland. |

Making Choices, Keeping Safe (MCKS) provides guidelines for those caring for people with learning disabilities around relationships and sexual health. This has been developed in response to the needs of people with learning disabilities and provides professionals with best practice guidance around discussing sexual health and relationships.
