Auchterarder Common Good Fund Committee - 2 October 2013

A Meeting of the Auchterarder Common Good Fund Committee will be held in the Council Chambers, Fourth Floor, Council Building, 2 High Street, Perth on Wednesday 2 October 2013 immediately following the meeting of Perth and Aberfeldy Common Good Fund Committees which commence at 11.00am on that date.

An urgent item of business arose during the Council's summer recess, in relation to two requests from Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) for wayleave applications in relation to a proposal to remove and replace an existing section of an 11Kv overhead power line with an underground line.

The line crosses land at Strathearn Home, Western Road, Auchterarder and the land in question forms part of the Auchterarder Common Muir northeast of Strathearn House.

All members of the Committee were contacted and they all agreed by email to approve the requests and to formally report the decision at the next meeting of the Auchterarder Common Good Fund Committee on 2 October 2013.
