Briefing Information

There are currently no weather warnings in place for Perth and Kinross.

Yesterday's snow has thawed overnight in most places, leading to some areas of standing water on roads. Overall though, road conditions are good this morning. The A93 Blairgowrie to Braemar Road reopened at 8.45am.

A Yellow flood alert remains in place for Tayside, and flood warnings have been issued for Carse of Lennoch to Lochlane, Crieff to Innerpeffray, and Innerpeffray to Bridge of Earn.

We have staff out on the ground checking these watercourses. We have had no reports of any flooding so far. All watercourses are being monitored and there are no immediate concerns at this time.

We have had no reports of any power outages in Perth and Kinross.

No Incident Management Team meetings are planned for today, but senior staff from all services will continue regular dialogue about the situation. All services remain ready to respond to any disruption.
